REACH YOUR GOALS

Protect What Is Important To You

Seeing the number of people daily that are succumbing to COVID-19 is pretty sobering for us all.  In Australia the vast majority of these people are elderly, which is devastating for their families, but there are added stresses if the person who dies also has dependants.   Not only does a family have to experience the emotional distress of losing a loved one, but sometimes they are also faced with huge financial distress.

Aussies are very good at saying “she’ll be right, it won’t happen to me” and as a result are often unprepared when life throws a curve ball.  However, without a crystal ball in hand, no matter how old, how fit, how healthy, or how careful you are, life happens… and it could happen to you.

No-one likes paying for something they hope they never need.  Have you ever heard someone say, “I’m so excited as I paid my car insurance premium today?”

Well I certainly haven’t, but I bet you have heard someone say how pleased they were they had the insurance after their car was damaged in an accident or it was stolen.  It’s something you don’t really appreciate until you need it.

Insuring yourself is the same thing – you may not want it, or feel you can afford it, but if life dealt you an unfair hand, your family will thank you for having it.  Imagine the relief of not having to worry about money whilst you recover from a serious illness or injury, or the relief of knowing your family won’t be left to pick up the ‘financial’ pieces after you’ve passed.

We’ve seen too many situations end badly and we don’t want it to happen to you! You never know what life will dish up and, healthy or not, no one is spared from the perils of life’s unexpected.

As Denis Waitley said “Expect the best, plan for the worst, and prepare to be surprised”

If you need a hand to make sure you’re properly covered, please get in touch. If anything, Covid has reminded us of how important it is to look after the people we love.
