Christmas Lunch Volunteer

Dear Volunteer Applicant

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2020 Frankston Life Community – Christmas Day Lunch for disadvantaged families and lonely people in our community.

At this stage, due to government COVID restrictions, it is not clear if the Christmas Lunch will be allowed to go ahead. However, we are tentatively planning an ‘outdoor event’ and inviting volunteer applications on the basis that we will confirm arrangements as details unfold.

*Volunteer Preferences

A. I can help with preparation work on some days during December (we’ll negotiate this with you)

B.   Kitchen Hand – food preparation – 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

C. Set-up – 8.00 am to 11.30 am

D. Kitchen Hand – food preparation – 9.00 am to 2.00 pm

E. Table Host – sitting with guests to ensure they are welcomed & looked after – 11.30 am to 3.00 pm

F. Waiter – serving food & drinks, plating-up, clearing tables. NB: physical agility to climb steps is req’d. – 11.30 am to 3.00 pm

G. General Volunteer – I will be happy to do any job given to me – eg. Table Host, Waiter, Dishwasher, Kitchen Hand, etc.

H. Children’s Entertainment – ** you must have a current ‘Working With Children’ card for this role – 11.30 am to 3.00 pm

I. Pack-up – 3.00 pm am to 5.00 pm
